In addition to the small laptops, Lenovo has a selection of normal sized laptops in the IdeaPad Series that are being announced as part of the company’s CES lineup. There’s some new entries in the IdeaPad Y Series, IdeaPad Z Series, and the plain Lenovo G Series.Lenovo’s IdeaPad Y Series is its “entertainment” line of laptops. These are the laptops meant for running Photoshop and/or gaming. The Y480 had a 14-inch display, while the Y580 has a 15-inch screen. Lenovo isn’t specific, but expect these laptops to hold the latest Intel Core CPUs and fast GPUs from either Nvidia or AMD. Both have Dolby Home Theater V4 for better audio through the JBL designed speakers, along with OneKey Theater II for “one-touch audio-visual optimization.” The Y580 even has a backlit keyboard and an HD webcam with night view.
